چکیده
Abstract Q. liaotungensis is an important drought-resistant tree species in Northeast China where the climate dry and rainless. In this study, we performed a deep transcriptomic sequencing leaves, including de novo assembly functional annotation for screening candidate genes involved drought avoidance. A total of 25,593 unigenes were obtained from Illumina platform. According to Gene Ontology KEGG pathway enrichment analysis, screened series encoding SOD, POD, CAT, DREB, MYB, WRKY, bZIP, NAC leaf transcriptome, all which are potentially resistance. The results study expanded genetic resources provided theoretical basis further exploring gene information .

RNA-Seq Analysis of Quercus pubescens Leaves: De Novo Transcriptome Assembly, Annotation and Functional Markers Development
Quercus pubescens Willd., a species distributed from Spain to southwest Asia, ranks high for drought tolerance among European oaks. Q. pubescens performs a role of outstanding significance in most Mediterranean forest ecosystems, but few mechanistic studies have been conducted to explore its response to environmental constrains, due to the lack of genomic resources. In our study, we performed a...
متن کاملGene discovery and annotation using LCM-454 transcriptome sequencing.
454 DNA sequencing technology achieves significant throughput relative to traditional approaches. More than 261,000 ESTs were generated by 454 Life Sciences from cDNA isolated using laser capture microdissection (LCM) from the developmentally important shoot apical meristem (SAM) of maize (Zea mays L.). This single sequencing run annotated >25,000 maize genomic sequences and also captured appro...

متن کاملDo photosynthetic limitations of evergreen Quercus ilex leaves change with long-term increased drought severity?
Seasonal drought can severely impact leaf photosynthetic capacity. This is particularly important for Mediterranean forests, where precipitation is expected to decrease as a consequence of climate change. Impacts of increased drought on the photosynthetic capacity of the evergreen Quercus ilex were studied for two years in a mature forest submitted to long-term throughfall exclusion. Gas exchan...
